Do You Have A Morning Routine?


 Good morning people! The night was cold I assume? Don't worry it's everywhere. I personally feel the raining season got colder this year. I've had to remind myself countless times that this wasn't the harmattan season yet. Could be this global warming is seriously messing with our weathers.



  Anyway most of us are sharp when we get up from sleep and others are grumpy. As for me it depends greatly on the amount of sleep I get during the night. Majority of the time I'm a cheery morning person. Immediately I get up from bed I have a morning routine that I don't mess with.

   First I pray: I know we all are not Christians or spiritually minded but it feels great to give thanks to Jah for a great night rest, thank him for the gift of life and everything he has done for us. Then proceed to commit our day to his control so that it becomes a success.  

  Then I brush my teeth: We have to do it anyway, so why not take a moment to really notice what you're doing? It will make you calmer and happier. Funny part though is I love looking in the mirror when brushing my teeth.

   After brushing I watch my face: Alot of people have different opinions on face care but I know what's best for me. I don't bother buying facial wipes or facial liquid with which others wipe their faces in the morning. Reason is because I've noticed it works well for some people but it doesn't do anything for me. Plus I've always believed that less is more. What I do is use my organic face scrub from tracysparkles organics. I apply a small amount on the ball of my fingers, wet my face with cold water, apply the face scrub in circular movements then rinse with water. Then I pat my face dry with my small face towel. This routine has guaranteed me a smooth face free from spots and pimples.

   Next I drink a full glass of water. Your body will thank you and it couldn't be simpler.

   Then I do a short exercise session. Exercise is great for your mental and physical performance, and you only need to do 10 minutes to start making a difference.

   I proceed to do my morning chores

  And I finally take my bath: Most people might say I should have bathed immediately after my excercise but they are wrong. Sweat from excercise should be left on the skin for some minutes as it makes the skin smoother. And the one thing I love is a smooth skin, and this got me into investing in organic products.

   The essence of a morning routine is so that you build yourself and your mind in a positive manner. When you are planning your personal morning routine which varies in different people be sure to build it on activities that would uplift both your spirit and your body.

   A routine can always be adjusted for optimum benefit.
